Café Du Monde Coffee: Chicory

Café Du Monde's rich blend of dark roasted coffee and chicory. Chicory is the root of the Endive lettuce plant roasted with our beans and then ground together. This coffee alternative became popular in New Orleans when there was a coffee shortage, due to blockaded ports.
